The Soul of Hunar Arts

Preserving Royal Heritage, One Thread at a Time

Born out of deep reverence for Indian threshold architecture, Hunar Arts bridges the timeless craft of master needleworkers with homes seeking auspicious distinction.

Our Origin

The Threshold as a Sacred Sanctuary

In classical Vastu and Vedic traditions, the entrance doorway β€” the Torana Dwar β€” is regarded as the spiritual boundary where external chaos dissipates, welcoming divine energy, harmony, and prosperity into the home.

When synthetic plastics and mass-manufactured prints began replacing traditional textiles, we founded Hunar Arts with a clear commitment: to preserve authentic heirloom techniques such as Zardozi needlework, Gota Patti appliquΓ©, and beaten brass bell casting.

Our Threefold Artisan Promise

Fair-Wage Karigar Clusters

By eliminating multi-tiered middlemen, our artisans in Jaipur, Sanganer, and Varanasi receive up to 3x standard market rates, fostering dignified community prosperity.

Heirloom Integrity

Every toran is constructed with heavy velvet and pure silk backings, double-stitched reinforcements, and genuine tarnish-resistant brass hardware.

Museum-Grade Packaging

Each toran arrives packed in an acid-free muslin envelope inside a rigid presentation box, designed to be stored year after year without thread deterioration.
